Course Content:
Map reading, Compass, Mountain Hazards, Personal equipment and route planning
This will enable the student to become a self sufficient navigator with the confidence to step off the beaten track. This course will provide you with the knowledge you need to safely enjoy the hillside and offers all the advice you need to enjoy your own adventures.
Areas covered are the Galtee Mountains and the Knockmealdown Mountains –Eastwest Mapping
