This course is intended for those with a good knowledge of English as an acquired language. It is practical in its nature, with lots of class participation.
Course Content:
- Awareness of the different sound patterns in the English language.
- The organs of speech used correctly to aid pronunciation.
- Intonation and speech rhythms.
- Correct pronunciation in vocal expression to aid meaning.
- Using the dictionary to understand phonetics.
