Basic First Aid CLASSROOM

Wed 7.00-9.00pm • Duration: 10 weeks

This course would be ideal for anyone involved in sport teaching or even parents who need a basic first aid course. Included in the course will be access to the college first aid room, which contains a Defibrillator etc..

At the end of this course each individual would receive an attendance cert for the course

If people would like to stay on an extra class (approx 3 hours course) at end of the 10 week course it would be to do a practical test and receive a cpr certificate that is registered with phecc

The extra cost of this per person would be 20 euro as this certificate is valid for 2 years and needs to be refreshed.

How to use an AED Defibrillator
What to do if someone is choking
Stroke and heart attack
Bandages and bleeding
Poisoning and what to do
Concussion and compression
Broken bones sprains and strains
Care of the patient and your self
Burns ,Asthma hypothermia and hyperthermia
