Fiona Kennedy is a Speech and Language Therapist . Fiona holds a BSc Hons in Speech and Language and is CORU Registered. Fiona is passionate about her field and has completed Hanen Training, DIR Floortime-Action is in the Interaction and QQI Level 5 Using Lámh in a Total Communication Approach. Fiona works within an early intervention speech and language therapy service providing speech and language services for children with Autism. Fiona has also supported children with Autism within their special schools, ASD units and mainstream schools.
That webinar was very good, so informative and very easy to understand. It really opened up my eyes as to how children with Autism view things and strategies to help them with day to day things. I am very interested in learning more about Autism so would you be able to guide me on courses that I can do.
I work in a preschool (Naíonra) where a child in my room was recently diagnosed with Autism. If I had done a webinar like this before it would have been so beneficial in all the paperwork that I had to fill in about him.
