Certificate in HIQA Regulations Course, Cork College of Commerce, Adult Education Dept., Night Course – On-line.
The Cork College of Commerce holds this 10 week (30 contact hours) course biannually. Maeve O’Sullivan facilitates the course. Maeve is a nurse midwife and a former HIQA inspector. For the past five years she has facilitated this NMBI accredited training course. Feedback from participants has consistently been very positive.
Maeve holds a Masters in Community Health, a Masters in Public Administration, and a diploma in Community Participation. Over the past 37 years, Maeve has worked extensively in the health and social care sector in Ireland and internationally, having held numerous managerial positions with national and international organisations. For the past 14 years, Maeve has worked more specifically in assessing and evaluating the quality of services delivered in a variety of health and social care services throughout Ireland. Since 2015, Maeve has lectured in health and social care delivery, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and leadership, governance and management. Maeve is a member of the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland, and the Teaching Council.
This term the course commences on Tues 25th January 2022, 18.30 – 21.30PM and will be run solely on-line.
The course is suitable for PIC’s, staff nurses, senior health care workers, registered providers and any person involved in the management of a nursing home, or a disability service.
