Description
Visual communication is the practice of using visual elements to evoke emotion, inspire change or to get your message out there. This module focuses on the development of creative thinking, ideation, visualisation, effective communication, and concept creation. Upon completion of this course students will gain a practical understanding of design techniques, brand creation, communication and strategy, and the knowledge to conceptualise, promote and market a brand in a noisy and digital environment. This course is ideal for marketing professionals, junior design executives, business owners or individuals with a passion for design and branding looking to expand their knowledge and abilities.
Students must have basic IT skills.
Course Content:
• Ideation
Learn how to conceive, develop and expand upon ideas using various techniques.
• Creative Messaging & Communication
Learn how to create and portray a message, and also how it is received by your audience.
• Design Principles
Design principles are a collection of individual elements that make up how we create effective visuals.
• Introduction to Graphic Design using Adobe Suite
Introduction on how to use design principles to turn your message into effective visuals, relaying it clearly to your intended audience.
• Market & Brand Positioning
Learn how to define where your brand lives in the world, how it is perceived and how to position it in front of your customers.
• Marketing Strategy Principles
We will look at marketing principles and how to apply them to your brand, aligning them with your brand positio
